En mi opinión, las plumas mudadas a finales del invierno son una fase previa de la muda completa, puesto que muy pocas plumas son renovadas dos veces consecutivas.
This puzzle effect is produced by the complete moult in summer. Three generation feathers can be seen on this 2cy bird. Note the retained juvenile feathers (lower tertials, lesser coverts, outer primaries), postjuvenile moulted feathers (great coverts, upper tertials) and complete "summer" moult (scapulars, median tertials). I think postjuvenile moult feather renovation (at least from later winter) belongs to the same moult round called complete. Many feathers are only renovated once all along the spring-summer (for example, the inner greater coverts in this bird)
